Research to Practice Month (Strategic Goal #4) This May TACUSPA, in coordination with the TACUSPA Research Committee, will spotlight faculty and their contributions in moving research to practice. The Association will host webinars based on contemporary research conducted by TACUSPA faculty and highlight academic programs across the state. We are currently seeking faculty to spotlight. More information about upcoming events will be available soon! | Website Accessibility Task Force (Strategic Goal #1) TACUSPA is creating a Website Accessibility Task Force under the leadership of Caryn Hawkins, Director of Technology. The task force will review and evaluate the website’s content and develop recommendations to enhance the overall accessibility the association’s website, as well as best practices to adopt in our standard practice. The task force will complete their review and provide written recommendations to the President within 60 days. We are currently seeking members to fill the at-large vacancies. TACUSPA@Work is a 6-week virtual institute guided by TACUSPA’s core values: Development, Advocacy, and Networking. The TACUSPA@Work Institute will include monthly panel discussions and cohort-based activities designed to engage members in meaningful ways to assist in their leadership development and growth. Expanded Membership Fields (Strategic Goal #1) |
TACUSPA recently expanded the data fields required to renew membership. Historically, TACUSPA has access to member's name, title, institution, email, and number. Through this recent expansion, TACUSPA will now have more accurate information about the membership, including information such as first-generation status, to support the Board's efforts at making informed decisions regarding the programs, services, and resources offered to support our members. A membership profile will be published annually by the Director of Membership. |

TACUSPA is excited to host a winter break resume exchange! Members are invited to submit their resumes for review by another TACUSPA member. All submitters must agree to serve as a reviewer. Timeline:

TACUSPA Café (Strategic Goal #3) |
TACUSPA Cafés are designed to provide members an opportunity gather virtually to discuss relevant issues impacting campuses and the communities they serve. During these events members are split into smaller breakout sessions to engage in informal discussions. Once complete, all groups reconvene and summarize their discussions with the larger group.
